DV Audio & Customs is a custom car audio shop in Escondido, founded in 2016 by Dennis Venegas, building custom car audio, lighting, and electronics the right way.
Everything is built in-house, from enclosures to speaker adapters cut to fit the vehicle. That control over every piece is why the work holds up. We focus on high-end, off-road, classic-car, and marine builds, one vehicle at a time.

Do you install Apple CarPlay or Android Auto in classic and older cars?
Yes, adding wireless CarPlay and Android Auto to classics and older vehicles is one of our specialties. We integrate it cleanly so it fits the car. Call us with your year, make, and model for a quote.
How much does a custom build cost?
It depends on the vehicle. A 2024 model and a 2000 model don't take the same parts, time, or work, so we quote every job to the specific car. Tell us the vehicle and what you want, and we'll give you a straight number.
Do you work on boats and off-road vehicles?
Yes. We build marine and boat audio, plus off-road and overland audio, lighting, and electrical, all done in-house and built to handle water, dust, and vibration.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, we offer financing through Snap Finance, with quick approval. Ask about it when you get your quote.
How long does a build take?
Simple upgrades are often same-day. Custom builds typically run a few days depending on the vehicle and scope, and bigger projects can be done in stages so your vehicle isn't tied up for weeks. We take a limited number of builds at a time, so call early.
What makes DV Audio different from a big-box installer?
Everything is designed and built in-house by the owner, tailored to your specific vehicle, not pulled off a shelf and rushed. We've been doing custom car audio and electronics work in Escondido since 2016 and stand behind it.
